God's Glory
An excerpt from Judges 13:2-24 (NRSV)
But the angel of the Lord said to him, ‘Why do you ask my name? It is too wonderful.’
Reflection from Anne Jolly:
God’s name is too wonderful for us to fully know – and God is too amazing for us to fully see – our language and imagination cannot fully capture God. This same God fully understands and knows us, and loves us beyond measure. God’s power and grace is infinite, and God’s love for us is just as infinite. That’s absolutely wonderful.
