God knows us completely
An excerpt from Jeremiah 1:4-10 (NRSV)
Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, and before you were born I consecrated you.

This reading reminds me of one of my favorite Psalms, Ps 139. Both describe being known and surrounded by God. Here, Jeremiah’s path is laid out before him, secure in the knowledge the God has called him. Do we feel surrounded by God? Do we see our call?
