The Youth Service Corps gets to work!

We have relaunched our youth group as the St. Gregory’s Youth Service Corps, with a more intentional focus on service to our neighbors. Last Saturday, they kicked-off by making delicious cookies for Community Meals. Thank you to Nana and Megan Agyeman for joining the leadership team, and to the Kettlewells for hosting!

New Confirmation Class

Start your adult journey of faith! All youth entering 6th through 11th grade are invited to enroll in this 2-year class to prepare for the sacrament of Confirmation. The class begins this September, and the Confirmation service will be held in spring of 2027. Details:

  • Please be sure your youth can attend at least 7 of the 8 classes scheduled for Year 1 (listed below). If you know this schedule does not work this year, please consider waiting for Confirmation to be offered again. 

  • This is a collaboration between St. Lawrence, Libertyville, and St. Gregory’s, Deerfield. We will alternate locations between our two churches. 

Year 1 Schedule 

Class will meet once a month during the school year on
Sundays, 4:00-6:00 pm: 

  • September 7

  • October 5

  • November 2

  • December 7

  • January 11

  • February 1

  • March 1

  • April 12
