Sing and praise
An excerpt from Psalm 105:1-2 (NRSV):
O give thanks to the Lord, call on his name, make known his deeds among the peoples. Sing to him, sing praises to him; tell of all his wonderful works.
Reflection from Ana Soonthornsima:
I see these verses are verbal acts of worship and expressions of praise. God’s people are told the importance of praising Him in song and spreading his glorious deeds.
We are blessed every Sunday by the lovely voices we hear during our service at St. Gregory’s. For instance, Kathryn radiates God’s love with her soul touching voice but for the rest of us who are not as talented as she, we can still share the Lord’s marvelous work through our actions.
