What faith do wish to “make known”?
An excerpt from Deuteronomy 4:8-9 (NRSV)
But take care and watch yourselves closely, so as neither to forget the things that your eyes have seen nor to let them slip from your mind all the days of your life; make them known to your children and your children’s children.
Reflection from Kenneth Mines,
Trinity Episcopal Church:
Knowing of my faith in God and my trusting Him with my whole heart in all things is what I want to leave to my children and to my children’s children. I would want them to know that they should confess their faith in God and that faith in God is trusting Him with your whole heart in all things. Scripture tells us without faith it is impossible to please God. Faith in Jesus brings eternal life. “Great is the Lord and greatly to be praised; there is no end to his greatness. One generation shall praise your works to another and declare your power.”

“How Firm a Foundation”
arr. Murray Boren
How firm a foundation, ye saints of the Lord,
is laid for your faith in his excellent word?
What more can he say than to you he hath said,
all you who to Jesus for refuge have fled?
