Healing
An excerpt from Hosea 6:1-6 from NRSV
Come, let us return to the Lord; for it is he who has torn, and he will heal us; he has struck down, and he will bind us up.
Reflection from Donna Shelton:
There are times when the things in our life that we think are unshakable, immune to destruction, impervious to disaster reveal themselves to be as fragile as butterfly’s wings. Our sense of safety, purpose, and direction can evaporate, until we remember that our faith in the Lord is stronger than any thing else known to man. If we lean on Him, He will not fail us. In the face of uncertainty, in the depths of feeling abandoned, His presence surrounds me with strength that cannot be broken..

“Stand by Me” By Ben E. King,
sung by Kingdom Choir
“If the sky that we look upon
Should tumble and fall,
And the mountain should crumble
to the sea.
I won’t cry, I won’t cry
No I won’t shed a tear just as long as
you stand, stand by me.”
