God's spirit instead of ours
An excerpt from James 3:13-18 (NRSV)
For where there is envy and selfish ambition, there will also be disorder and wickedness of every kind. But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without a trace of partiality or hypocrisy.
Reflection from Suzanne Francis:
I remember this passage whenever I find myself feeling jealous. It reminds me that jealousy brings nothing by chaos. I feel out of sort, short tempered. Once I give up that jealousy and accept that I am what I am and be happy with what God has created, then I am at peace.

Where there is injury, pardon;
