Christ is light of world
An excerpt from John 8:12-19 (NRSV)
I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness but will have the light of life.
Reflection from Annette Johnston:
We often develop habits around our church life.We think that we must be doing God’s work because we are at church, or working with people at church. In our comfort of habit, we may slowly deviate from the true work that is given us. We unknowingly lapse to deeper darkness. As we await the light again this season, let it shine on our true mission to our neighbors on the North Shore.
