New Family Minister - Shelley Byrnes

The Search Team, Vestry, and Rector are very excited to announce that after our nationwide search, Shelley Byrnes has accepted our call to be St. Gregory's Family Minister! Shelley will be coming to us from Church of the Nativity in Scottsdale, AZ. She has abundant experience in life and ministry with children, youth, and their families, and brings a vibrant energy along with her wealth of knowledge. She will join us for the Youth Picnic on June 3, and then will move to Deerfield before going with the youth on their trip to Kanuga on June 17th.

As Family Minister, Shelley's ministry will be to carry the vision for Family Ministries to insipire, support, and connect families in Deerfield and the surrounding areas to build and share faith and meaningful relationships. She will work with our entire parish to support these ministries by inviting people to work with children, youth, and their parents in fulfililng this vision. Her skills, experience, and passions make Shelley the perfect person for this ministry at St. Gregory's. Stay tuned for more information about her first Sunday, and ways to help her move in and welcome her to our parish!
